The Journey
Every expedition is guaranteed to run.
Even with a single participant, the expedition departs on schedule. No cancellations, no minimum group size. Your journey is confirmed from the moment you book.
Two locations.
Two ways
of seeing.
Cinque Terre and Tuscany are visually opposite — and that contrast is the point. The coast teaches colour, geometry and dynamic light. Tuscany teaches patience, minimalism and atmospheric composition. Together, they build a more complete photographer.
Coastal Energy
Colour, cliffs, geometry — the dynamic light of the Ligurian coast.
Tuscan Silence
Fog, minimalism, farmhouses — the timeless rhythm of the countryside.
Long Exposure
Seascapes at Cinque Terre, misty hills at dawn in Val d’Orcia.
Adapting Your Vision
Learning to change your approach with the environment — the key skill.

What They Experienced
Manarola at sunrise and Val d’Orcia in the morning fog in the same week — two completely different visual worlds, both extraordinary. Raffaele guided us to see the best of each.
Germany · Cinque Terre & Tuscany 2024
The dual-location concept is brilliant. The contrast between the energy of Cinque Terre and the silence of Tuscany taught me more about photography than any single-location workshop ever had.
France · Cinque Terre & Tuscany 2025
I came back with a complete portfolio across two totally different landscapes. Raffaele knows every hidden viewpoint in both places. Unforgettable experience.
United Kingdom · Cinque Terre & Tuscany 2025
Everything You
Need to Know
Is this suitable for beginners? +
Yes. All levels welcome. The dual-location format is ideal for developing versatility — the ability to adapt your approach to completely different environments.
What camera do I need? +
Any camera with manual mode. A tripod is useful for seascapes and long exposures. A wide-angle lens works well for both the coast and Tuscan landscapes.
How are the two locations divided? +
Days 1–4 focus on Cinque Terre and Portovenere. Days 5–7 move to Tuscany and Val d’Orcia. The transition itself is part of the visual experience.
Is accommodation included? +
Yes, 6 nights accommodation is included. One base in Cinque Terre, one in Tuscany.
Can I book just one of the two locations? +
Yes. Individual workshops for Cinque Terre only or Tuscany only are available. Contact Raffaele to discuss dates and format.
When is the best season? +
October is ideal — soft autumn light on the Ligurian coast, early morning fog in Tuscany, and far smaller crowds than summer.
